The Tempest

2009 saw us celebrate our 5th anniversary at Ripley. So we decided to move away from the promenade style we had been working with previously.

The Tempest was set on Island in the middle of Ripley Lake. The Island was cleared, a bridge was built from the mainland. We constructed seating in the round, and errected platforms in the trees.

The three week performance played out to sold out audiences before spending a week as guests of York Theatre Royal.
