Sprite Young Actors

This July, after a highly successful week during 2009 and 2010 Sprite Productions return with their Young Actors Company.

The course lasts for one week and is situated in the grounds of Ripley Castle. The training is aimed at actors from 16-22 years of age with all levels of experience, whether you are someone considering a career in the Theatre, or if you just have a love of live art.

During the week we will work on a wide variety of skills and disciplines, all essential for today's actor. Morning sessions will include voice, movement, dance, verse, improvisation and in the afternoon we will spend time in the open air working towards the final performance. At the end of the week friends and family are invited to come and watch this performance, which will be staged in the grounds of Ripley Castle.

Our tutors are all practicing actors who have performed in the West End and with the RSC, as well as appearing in numerous TV shows and films. Our course Director joins us straight from a run at the National Theatre. So as you can see you will be learning from the best!

The week will run from 18th - 24th July 2001 with sessions beginning at 9.30am and finishing at 5.00pm.
