The Experience
Not Just a Show – An Event!
Sprite Productions, bring you a classical play, in a classical setting, but a very modern production. We use the beautiful grounds of Ripley Castle as a stage for some of Shakespeare’s most famous plays. We believe that site specific work not only enhances the theatricality of the show itself, but it also gets the audience more involved with and engaged in the action, leading to an all the more interesting production.
In 2010 we will transform the audience’s ideas of conventional theatre by re-inventing the story of As You Like It. The mystical 'Forest of Arden' depecited in the play will convert magically to Ripley woods. Once again we will bring you a young, energetic company of actors who, using original live music, illusions and fabulous acting will create and all new production of this classical play.
We invite you to bring friends, family and colleagues to Ripley, where you can picnic before the show and be entertained by our strolling performers. Bring chairs, rugs, lights and warm clothing as we will be performing the entire show outside in the beautiful gardens of Ripley Castle.”

Refreshments
You will be able to purchase drinks and snacks from our bar, located in the gardens where we begin and end our tale. We encourage you to arrive an hour before the show, to give you time to enjoy your picnics and our pre-show entertainment.
