Only 30p a mile to get to As You Like it!
At Sprite Productions we are always looking for ways of enhancing the audience's enjoyment of our performances. At the same time, we are acutely aware of our responsibility to minimise the environmental impact of our productions. We believe our unique and innovative partnership with the sustainable travel-planning company Fellowtravellers enables us to meet both these objectives. So this year are starting a ground braking relationship with Fellow Travellers and hope this leads to larger artistic companies following our lead.
Fellowtravellers are able to offer the flexibility of a taxi service at a cost more normally associated with a bus service, and is able to offer a door-to-door service tailored exactly to our performance schedule, and at only 60 grammes of CO2 emissions per passenger mile it's a lot better for the environment than the 140 grammes per passenger mile of a 2-occupant car, or 140 grammes per passenger mile of traditional public transport.
We have estimated that if everybody coming to see As You Like It comes by Fellowtravellers instead of by a car with one other occupant, we will collectively prevent about 5 tonnes of CO2 going into the atmosphere, so please do consider using this sustainable and highly convenient sustainable transport service.
